Voice Announce Unit (VAU)
Guidelines
• Operating temperatures for the Voice Announce Unit
be between 35 and 105 | ° F. |
•Maximum loop resistance for the VAU is 10 Ohms.

•The ports used for the VAU must have all FF key assignments cleared before voice messages and abbreviated dial numbers are programmed.
•The following tools are required to install the VAU:

Installation
1.Remove the cover from the Voice Announce Unit.
2.Set SW1 and SW2 according to the following tables. (Default settings are italicized.)

1ON=Enable blind transfer OFF=Disable blind transfer
(VAU chip 1.1 or later is required for blind transfer.)
2ON=Small DBS
OFF=DBS and DBS 824
3ON=Two messages up to 16 seconds each
OFF=One message up to 32 seconds
