2.If you plan to use a cleaning cartridge to clean the tape drive, place a cleaning cartridge in the fixed slot closest to the tape drive, as shown in the following figure.

CAUTION
Use only cleaning cartridges specifically designed for AIT tape drives. Using other types of cleaning cartridges voids your warranty. Carefully follow all instructions and recommendations provided with the cleaning cartridge.
