Network Address | Selects the method used to set the Internet Protocol |
| (IP) address of the library, as follows: |
| • Static – The library uses a fixed IP Address, |
| which is assigned in the IP Address field, |
| described below. |
| • DHCP – The library uses an IP address |
| assigned by the network DHCP (Dynamic |
| Host Configuration Protocol) server. |
| For ease of use, Plasmon recommends using a Static |
| IP address. |

IP Address | Sets the IP address of the library, which acts as a |
| Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP) |
| device in the network. |

Subnet Mask | Sets the subnet (subnetwork) mask, a set of numbers |
| that allows routing of communication to designated |
| devices within the network. |
| Note: This option is only displayed if the network |
| address is set to Static. |

Gateway Address | Sets the default TCP/IP (Transmission Control Proto- |
| col/Internet Protocol) gateway address, which allows |
| routing of communication outside the subnet. |
