VOLUME ADJUSTMENT

You can adjust the volume of the speaker, handset, and ringer usi ng the UP and

DOWN keys on the operation panel.

Speaker

The speaker has three volume levels: HIGH, MIDDLE, and LOW. To adjust the

volume of the speaker, press the SPEAKER key and then press the UP or DOWN

key until the desired level appears in the display. Press the SPEAKER key agai n

to turn the speaker off.

Handset

The handset receiver has two volume levels: HIGH and MIDDLE. To adj us t the

volume of the handset receiver, lift the hand set and then press the UP or DOWN

key until the desired level appears in the display.

Ringer

The ringer has four volume levels: HIGH, MIDDLE, LOW, and OFF. To adj us t th e

volume of the ringer, press the UP or DOWN key until the desired level appears in

the display (make sure the SPEAKER has not been pressed and the handset is

not lifted). The fax will ring at the new volume level each time you ch an ge the lev el .

If you select OFF, press the START key to confirm your selection.
