6 MAKING TELEPHONE CALLS
Your fax can be used like a regular telephone to make and receive voice calls.
♦To make or receive a phone call, the power must be on.

Note: While the handset of the fax is lifted (off hook), an extension phone con- nected directly to the fax cannot be used to speak with the other party.
