LOADING AND PARKING FANFOLD FORMS

Fanfoldforms have holes along the sidesand perforations betweenthe
sheets.They are also called sprocketforms,punchedforms, orjust plain
“computerpaper”.Thisprinteracceptsforms upto 10”wide.This section
willtake you through theproceduresfor loading,parking andunparking
fanfoldforms.
Loadingthe paperfrom the rearof the printer
Youcanloadthefanfoldpapereitherfrom therearorfromthe bottomofthe
printer.If youare goingtoloadthe paperfromthebottom,refer tothenext
section.
1. Placeastackof fanfoldpaperbehindandatleastonepage-lengthbelow
theprinter.
2. Turnthe printer’spowerOFF.
3. Pushthereleaselever forward.Thishastheeffectof releasingthepaper
fromthe platenroller,and engagingthetractorfeed.
4. Removethepaper guideandput itaside forthemoment.
5. Removetherearcoverusingthetwo gripsoneitherside,andpushback-
wardsas in Figure1-11.
