If the printeris turned on while the cONLINE )buttonis pressed, the

printerwillenter theshort self-testmode.Theprinterwill printthe version

numberofthe printer’sROM,followedby sevenlines ofthe characterset.

Eachline will be offsetby one characterfromthe one beforeit. The final
