Filter Queries to a Zone Without Transforming

It is possible to lter the search re quests sent to a zone so that

it is only queried for aliases that mat ch certain criteria.

For example, assume all endpoints in yo ur regional sales

ofce are registered to their l ocal VCS with a sufx of

@sales.example.com.

In this situation, it makes sense for you r head ofce VCS to

query the sales ofce VCS o nly when it receives a search

request for an alias with a sufx o f @sales.example.com.

Sending any other search reque sts to this particular VCS woul d

take up resources unnecessar ily.

To achieve this, on your local VCS create and co ngure the zone

representing the sales of ce VCS as shown:
