1Follow the instructions in PC/Windows software to install the printer’s software.
Select Easy Install to automatically install the software, or select the

Printer

Utilities
item in the Custom Install: Utilities window.
2Locate the files in the
PHSR600
subdirectory, inside the
PHSRTOOL
directory
created on your hard disk by the installer application.
3Select one of the following files:
■Use the

STARTPG.PS

file to enable printing of the printer’s
startup page.
■Use the

NOSTRTPG.PS

file to disable the printer’s startup page.
4Use one of the following methods to send the desired file to the printer:
■PC users: Use the DOS COPY command to send the file to the printer.
(Windows 3.1 users can also use the Copy command in the File
Manager.)
■Workstation users: Send a file to the printer as you would any
PostScript file.
