Chapter 6: First-Level Commands

USING DEBUG MODE

This section provides information on the commands and options available in debug mode.

Switching to Debug Mode

Host> debug

Use the debug command at the first-level prompt (Host>) to switch the system to the second-level debug prompt: Host(debug)#. This prompt indicates that the user is now in the second-level debug mode and has access to the five second-level commands in the debug menu.

1Use the show command to display memory, system and fragmentation information.

2The port sonet source-clockcommand determines timing configuration for the ATM port specified.

3At this level, the exit and end commands will return the user to the first configuration level.

4From the Host> prompt, enter the debug command in the following format: debug
