Using the Printer With a Network

Print server

Refers to the computer to which the printer is directly connected via a USB interface cable. On the print server, select the printer driver called BJC-2100. From the print server, the progress of printing can be confirmed using the BJ PrintMonitor.

Client machine

Refers to a computer that is connected to the print server via an Ethernet network. From a client machine, select the printer driver called BJC-2100 (Server). When printing is executed, data is sent to the printer via the print server. From a client machine, the progress of printing can be confirmed by starting the BJ StatusMonitor on the print server.

Selecting the Printer Driver

To use the printer with a network, the correct printer driver must be installed on each computer.

First, set up the print server. Then, make the necessary settings for each client machine.
