An Error Message Appears
■ Error Writing to LPT1 or USBPRNnn
You cannot print when this message appears.
CHECK 1 IS THE PRINTER PLUGGED IN?
Confirm that printer’s power plug is connected to the printer and plugged
into a live power outlet. After the printer is plugged in, the printer turns on
automatically. There is no power button on the printer.
Printer Does Not Operate After It Is Plugged In
CHECK 2 ARE THE PRINTER AND COMPUTER CONNECTED PROPERLY?
Check the connections of the printer cable at the computer and the printer.
CHECK 3 IS PRINT SPOOLING OPERATING CORRECTLY?
Cancel spooling and send the print job directly to the printer.
1Open the Printer Properties dialog box from the Start menu.
2Click the Details tab and click the Spool Settings button. Click the
button for “Print directly to the printer”.
