Printing on Special Media Types

■Back Print Film

This is semi-transparent ﬁlm used for backlit display. Printed images are reversed (mirrored).

•Do not use the BC-22e Photo BJ Cartridge when printing back print ﬁlms.

•Load back print ﬁlm with the printing side (the rougher side) facing up.

•You can load up to 10 sheets at one time in the sheet feeder.

•Select Back Print Film as the Media Type setting in the printer driver.

•After printing, remove each sheet from the output tray as it is ejected.

•Allow about 15 minutes for the ink to dry.

	Note	To avoid smudging and prevent printed sheets of back print ﬁlm from
	Note	sticking together, place a sheet of uncoated plain paper between each

		sheet of back print ﬁlm. When storing a single sheet of back print ﬁlm in a
		plastic folder, place sheets of plain paper on both sides of the ﬁlm.
