Printing on Special Media Types
■ Envelopes
•To assure crisp, clear printing, do not use envelopes with textured or coated
surfaces. To avoid paper feed problems, do not use double-flap envelopes or
envelopes with exposed adhesive seals.
•Prepare the envelopes.
1Press down on the corners and the middle of the envelopes to expel air and
eliminate warp and curl.
2If the envelopes are still warped, hold the envelopes at diagonally opposed
corners and bend lightly. Confirm that the flaps are straight.
