Printout Is Unsatisfactory
CHECK 3 ARE YOU PRINTING ON CURLED PLAIN PAPER?
If curled plain paper is loaded with the curl bowing up, the print head may
scratch the bottom edge of the paper.
Remove the plain paper, turn it over, and load it in the auto sheet feeder
again.
CHECK 4 ARE YOU EXECUTING A HIGH DENSITY PRINT ON PLAIN PAPER?
If you execute a high density print job on plain paper, the paper may
absorb too much ink and curl, and the print head may scratch the surface
of the curled page. Lower the Intensity setting.
1Open the Printer Properties dialog box, and click the Advanced
button in the Main tab.
2Click the Color tab.
3Use the Intensity slide bar to change the color density setting.
1When using Manual for printing, click the Details button in the Print
dialog box.
2In the Color panel, use the Intensity slide bar to change the print
density setting.
