SJ200 Inverter

breakpoint of the boost (point A on the graph) by using parameters A042 and A043. The manual boost is calculated as an addition to the standard V/f curve.

NOTE: Manual torque boost is not operational when intelligent sensorless vector control is in use.

Be aware that running the motor at a low speed for a long time can cause motor overheating. This is particularly true when manual torque boost is ON, or if the motor relies on a built-in fan for cooling.

NOTE: Manual torque boost applies only to constant torque (A044=00) and variable torque (A044=01) V/f control.

Voltage Gain – Using parameter A045 you can modify the voltage gain of the inverter (see graph at right). This is specified as a percentage of the full scale output voltage. The gain can be set from 20% to 100%. It should be adjusted in accordance with the motor specifi- cations.

Intelligent Sensorless Vector Control (iSLV) – This advanced torque control algorithm improves torque performance at very low speeds—down to 0.5 Hz, as well as improve regulation across the speed range. Set parameter A044=02 to select iSLV operation. The iSLV algorithm automatically matches the characteristics of the particular motor connected to your inverter. Auto-tuning is not required. The iSLV control includes voltage compensation (A046) and slip compensation (A047).

NOTE: You must disable intelligent sensorless vector operation when two or more motors are connected (parallel operation) to the inverter.

NOTE: If the inverter experiences over-current trips during deceleration, set AVR Function Select (parameter A081) to “AVR enabled” (A081 = 00).

The following table shows the methods of torque control selection.
