Control Panel Overlay and Control Panel

1Remove the Top Cover (page 6-12).

2The Control Panel Overlay is held in place on the Top Cover by two tabs on each side. Slide a small flat-blade screwdriver along the outside edge of the Control Panel Overlay, to disengage the two tabs on the outside of the cover.

3Lift the Overlay off of the Control Panel.

4Remove the single self-tapping screw holding the Control Panel to the underside of the Top Cover.

5Lift up on the metal plate gently to free the Control Panel.

6Grasp the Control Panel by the metal frame and remove it from the underside of the Top Cover. See Figure 6-8, “Back Side of Top Cover,” on page 6-16.
