Main Gear Assembly, 34Removing and Replacing Parts | HP 5000n

Main Gear Assembly

1Remove the Top Cover (page 6-12) and the Left Cover (page 6-23).

2The Main Motor is located on a PCA (see Figure 6-26) on the back side of the Gear Assembly. Disconnect the Main Motor Cable.

3Remove five self-tapping screws and the grounding screw (spring-loaded machine screw) that hold the Gear Assembly to the chassis.
