Managing the Toner Cartridge

HP Policy on Non-HP Toner Cartridges

Hewlett-Packard Company cannot recommend use of non-HP toner cartridges, either new or remanufactured. Because they are not HP products, HP cannot influence their design or control their quality. Service or repairs required as a result of using a non Hewlett-Packard toner cartridge will NOT be covered under the printer warranty.

To install a new HP toner cartridge and recycle the used cartridge, follow the instructions included in the toner cartridge box and refer to the recycling guide included in the box.

Toner Cartridge Storage

Do not remove the toner cartridge from its package until you are ready to use it.

CAUTION To prevent damage to the toner cartridge, do not expose it to light for more than a few minutes. Do not store the toner cartridge at temperatures above 95° F (35° C) or below 32° F (0° C).
