Chapter 6 HP Digital Copy

358

Default Configurations

If the HP Digital Copy is idle and unattended for one minute, the HP Digital Copy settings will return to the default configuration. Press the Reset key on the control panel to return all of the HP Digital Copy settings to the default configuration.

The setting changes that you make will remain for one minute before they reset to a default setting. For example, if you walk up to the HP Digital Copy and press the 5 key, the number of copies selected will be set to five. If you do not make any other setting changes and do not initiate a job by pressing the Start key within one minute, then the number of copies selected will automatically return to one.

After a copy job is completed, the current settings will not change until after another minute expires. This makes it possible to set up the HP Digital Copy settings in a particular manner only once for a number of jobs.

Note:

The post-job timeout period will be shorter than the idle timeout period.
