-CM

Installs the Application Recovery Manager Cell Manager.

-IS

Installs the Application Recovery Manager Installation Server with all push packages.

-autopass

If this option is specified, the HP OpenView AutoPass utility is automatically installed. If AutoPass is already installed on the system, it is automatically upgraded. This option is to be used only on the Cell Manager.

NOTES

This command requires that the

•Application Recovery Manager UNIX installation CD is mounted on the system.

•APPRM_DEPOT and LOCAL_INSTALL folders are copied to the disk.

Before running the command make sure that no Application Recovery Manager backups or restores are running on the system. The command must be executed using the default POSIX or ksh shell.

On MC/ServiceGuard, the HP OpenView AutoPass utility must be installed an all nodes.

EXAMPLES

1.To install or re-install the SMIS-A and SAP R/3 software components, run: omnisetup.sh -install smisa,sap

2.To install the Cell Manager and Installation Server together with the HP OpenView AutoPass utility, insert and mount the UNIX installation CD and run the following command from the LOCAL_INSTALL directory:

omnisetup.sh -CM -IS -autopass
