250ml (1 tasse) de margarine ou de beurre, ramolli

4carrés (30 g [1 oz] pièce) de chocolat non-sucré

500 ml (2 tasses) de sucre

5ml (1 c. à thé) de vanille

3 oeufs

250ml (1 tasse) de farine tout-usage

2 ml (12 c. à thé) de sel

250ml(1 tasse) de noix ou de noix de pacane hachées

Faites fondre 125 ml (12 tasse) de beurre et le chocolat dans une petite poêle à feu doux; laissez refroidir. Placez les 125 ml (12 tasse) de beurre, de sucre et de vanille restants, dans le bol du batteur. Fixez le bol et le fouet à lame plate au batteur. Réglez à la vitesse 2 et mélangez pendant environ 30 secondes. Réglez à la vitesse 6 et battez 2 minutes environ. Réglez à la vitesse 4. et ajoutez les œufs, un par un, en battant environ 15 secondes après chaque ajout. Arrêtez le batteur et raclez le bol.

Ajoutez la préparation de chocolat refroidie. Réglez sur la vitesse 2 et mélangez pendant environ 30 secondes. Arrêtez le batteur et raclez le bol.Ajoutez tous les ingrédients restants. Réglez à la vitesse d’agitation mélangez pendant environ 30 secondes, ou jusqu’à ce qu’un mélange homogène soit obtenu.

Versez la préparation dans un moule graissé et saupoudrés de farine de 33 x 23 x 5-cm (13 x 9 x 2- inch). Faites cuire au four à 180°C (350ºF) pendant 45 minutes. Laissez complètement refroidir sur une grille et coupez.
