23-S FCH Failure Notification (Detection)

7.1 Repair Procedure

STEP 1: Make sure that the related Ethernet cables are securely inserted into the connectors. (See the example shown below.) If not, securely insert the cable. In this instance, confirm whether System Message 23- T FCH Fault Recovery Notification is displayed as the result of cable insertion. If no fault is found in this step, move to STEP 2.

STEP 2: The following equipment is suspected to be faulty. Check for each item:

Ethernet cables (10 BASE-T cables) See Figure 7-13“How to Check 10 BASE-T cables.”

HUB (PA-M96) See Figure 7-14“How to Replace HUB (PA-M96) card.”

FCH (PA-FCHA) See Figure 7-4“How to Replace FCH (PA-FCHA) card.”
