Putting a Call on Hold
The Hold key lets you temporarily hang up a line without disconnecting the other party. If you do not retrieve the call after a certain period of time (deter- mined by the CBX), your telephone rings. If it is an external call and you do not answer, the call is trans- ferred to the operator.
If you want to make another call after placing a call on hold, you must use another line. If your telephone has only one line, use the consultation feature to place an- other call. (See “Consultation” on page
