4.10 Keyboard 4 Replacement Procedures

Installing the Keyboard

To install the keyboard, follow the steps below and refer to Figure 4-11 to 4-12.

1.Set the keyboard on the palm rest of the COVER ASSY with the upside down.

2.Connect the keyboard flexible cable to the connector CN3230 on the system board and remove the keyboard.

3.Set the KB SUP PLT ASSY and secure it the following screw.

• M2.5⋅3C S-THIN screw ⋅1

4.Turn the keyboard face up and set it in place.

5.Secure the keyboard with the following screws.

• M2.0⋅4B BIND screw ⋅2

6. Set the KB HOLDER while latching it.
