4.28 TOUCH PAD/Fingerprint sensor board
CAUTION: Do not reuse the removed the TOUCH PAD, TP SPILL CUSHION,
Fingerprint sensor board and D STICK TAPE TP.
When replacing the TP SPILL CUSHION, Fingerprint sensor board and
TOUCH PAD, remove the double-sided tape left on the Fingerprint sensor
board and COVER ASSY in advance.
Removing the TOUCH PAD/Fingerprint sensor board
To remove the TOUCH PAD/Fingerprint sensor board, follow the steps below and refer to
Figure 4-42 to 4-45.
1. Disconnect the TP FFC from the connector on the TOUCH PAD and Fingerprint
sensor board.
2. Disconnect the Fingerprint sensor board FFC from the connector on the
Fingerprint sensor board.
3. Remove the following screw and TPAD PLT ASSY while releasing the latch.
