Vanguard 7300 Functions and Features

Compression

When compressed traffic is sent over a Frame Relay link on the Vanguard 7300 Series, some compressed transmitted frames might corrupt. Vanguard Managed Solutions recommends that you change the maximum frame size in the Node Record Configuration from the default of 1620 to 2200. This is the recommended default whenever compression is activated on a frame relay bypass station on a Vanguard 7300.
