Removing and Replacing the MPC750 CPU Card

Removing the The Vanguard 7300 MPC750 CPU card is illustrated in Figure 5-7. Use the steps in MPC750 CPU Card this table to remove the CPU card from the Vanguard 7300 enclosure:

Step Action

1Power off the Vanguard 7300.

2Disconnect any cables attached to the front of the CPU card.

3Using a screwdriver, loosen the captive screws from the front of the CPU card.

4To eject the CPU card, press the ejector levers outward simultaneously.

5Pull the CPU card from the enclosure.
