SETTING UP THE PRINTER CONTROLLER

Allocating memory for resources

The Resource Limits option allows you to specify additional memory to be used for resources such as fonts and overlays.

Note: Whatever memory you add to your resource allocation will no longer be available for system operation.

If you wish to change the memory allocation to provide more memory for resources, follow these steps:

1.Select Resource Limits from the Configuration pull-down menu. The System Resource Limits window displays.

2.Enter the amount of memory you want allocated to resources, or click the arrows in the incremental spin box to select the value. The range of values is 16-128 megabytes; the default is 16.

3.Click Apply.
