Deleting an output configuration

SETTING THE SYSTEM CONFIGURATION

Deleting an output configuration

To delete an output configuration file for the system:

1.On the Output section of the IPS main window, click the Modify button. The IPS Output Configuration window displays.

2.From the Output Configuration pull-down menu, select the configuration you want to delete.

Note: You cannot delete the Default output configuration.

3.Click Delete to delete the selected output configuration. A confirmation window displays.

4.On the confirmation window, click Delete to delete the output configuration file and return to the IPS Output Configuration window. The file name is removed from the Output Group Name pull-down menu.

5.Click Quit to return to the IPS main window.

Adding a DFA profile

The values you enter for a DFA profile are provided by the vendor of your finishing equipment, except the Set Media Modification (SMM) values for Finishing Functions 1 and 2 (if used). The SMM values are specified in the job by your applications programmer.

To create a new DFA profile:

1.Locate the DFA Profile pull-down menu on the IPS main window (below the Output Configuration pull-down menu).
