SETTING THE SYSTEM CONFIGURATION

Number of Sheets — Specifies the number of pages you want to print from the sample file. The range is 0 to 500 sheets. The default is 10 sheets.
Number of Sets (DFA systems only) — Specifies the number sets to create, each containing the number of sheets specified.
Finishing Function Option (DFA systems only) — Enables you to specify finishing functions 1 or 2 for a third- party finishing device, if desired.
Mode — Specifies whether the sample is printed in simplex or duplex mode. Simplex is the default. If you select duplex, the same sample is printed on both sides of each sheet.
Printer Tray — Specifies the input tray grouping from which paper will be fed. (Refer to the “Specifying the input configuration” section later in this chapter.)
Bin Group — Specifies the output bin grouping to which the printed samples are sent. (Refer to the “Specifying the output configuration” section later in this chapter.)
Note: If Bin 1 (sample tray) is not selected, the printed sheets are offset every six sheets.
3.Click Print Samples to initiate printing. Your samples are delivered to the bin group selected on the Sample Printing window.
