5.5 Dialog boxes
For security reasons you should change the default user name and password combination. You can have the same user name and password for all com- ponents or different ones for each. You must specify this accordingly in this dialog box.
With the Configure protocols button you can expand the dialog box, so that you can also specifiy the protocol and port to be used by VIOM to access the components. These values should not be changed in a standard con- figuration.
User name
A valid user name with access rights to the MMB or IBP
Password
Password of the user ID
Use for all components
Sets the values for all IBPs to the ones specified for the MMB.
Configure protocols
Expands the dialog box, so that you can also specifiy the protocol and the port to be used by VIOM to access the components. These values should not be changed in a standard configuration.
Protocol
Select the protocol to be used for communication with the management blade or the I/O connection blades.
Port
If Use default port is not checked, you have the option of specifying other port numbers for the modules in this field.
Use default port
Uses the default port. The default port is dependent on the protocol and the relevant module.
For a management blade: Port 3172 for Telnet and Port 22 for SSH
For an I/O connection blade: Port 23 for Telnet and Port 22 for SSH
The Port input field is inactive if this option is checked.
