If battery is removed, do not operate engine without insulating POS+ (red) battery cable ter- minal with electrical tape, or sparking from bat- tery cables can result.
Charging:
When charging the battery disconnect the battery ter- minals. The battery fitted to the mower is 14 Ah rated, charge the battery as per the instruction for the charger you are using (not supplied).

3.Tip the mower back and drain the oil into a suita- ble container. Ensure that all the old oil has drained away.
4.Refit the oil drain plug 30.
5.Clean the area around the oil fill dip stick 6 and re- move.
6.With the mower on level ground slowly pour a good quality SAE 30 oil (i. e. SAE 30 API SF), in small quantities, into the oil filler hole. The correct level on the dip stick 9. Depending on any residual of oil in the sump, up to 0,6 litres (1.1 pint) oil will be required to fill the engine.
7.Refit the oil fill dip stick 6.
Note: It is important that you use the recommended oil to avoid damage to your engine.
