history-command max-size value

Parameter

value: Enter the number of previously entered commands that you want the Switch to save.

Description

Use the command history-commandmax-sizeto specify the amount of previously entered commands that you want the Switch to save. Enter any value between 0 and 256. The default is 10, that is, the 10 most recently entered commands are saved. Use the undo history-commandmax-sizecommand to restore the default value.

To display the most recently-entered commands, up to the specified maximum, use the command display history-command.

Example

To set the history buffer to 20, that is to save the 20 most recently-entered commands, enter the following:
