Initializing the Switch 2000 TR
The Switch 2000 TR VT100 interface allows you to
initialize the nonvolatile memory on the unit and
return to the factory defaults. Be aware that all con-
figuration parameters, database entries, and setting
will be erased and returned to the original factory-set
defaults.
You should only initialize the Switch 2000 TR if:
The current configuration scheme no longer suits
your network.
All other attempts to solve problems have not suc-
ceeded.
From the Switch 2000 TR Main Menu, proceed as fol-
lows:
1Select INITIALIZE from the Main Menu.
The Initialization screen appears. See Figure 4-21.

2Select OK if you wish to initialize
3Confirm operation by pressing [Enter].
Switch 2000 TR resets.
