INSTALL Questions

Foreach manufacturerand model, specific
System Parameters(noted as SPin chart)are
suppliedfrom theSerenade database. These
vary, depending upon the telephone system and
installation.A fewexamples follow:
Youmust include intercept mailboxes needed to
configureport COSs(used in theSLOTS Table)and
user mailboxesneeded for testing. You can configure
additionalmailboxes during INSTALL, or wait untilthe
basic installation is tested and then complete the system
databaseusing theUPDATE program. Mailboxes that
needto be configured in INSTALL or UPDATE
include:all companygreeting mailboxes, intercept
mailboxes,distribution-list pilot numbers,extended
mailboxes(pilot andmembers), flexible menu
mailboxes,and system users(mailboxes with extensions
andmailboxes only).
Enter the COS,even if you have not assigned the
correctattributes. Attributes can be addedor
deletedin theUPDATE program.
