Using the BayStack 350 10/100 Autosense Switch

100BASE-FX Fiber Optic Port Connectors

The BayStack 350F switch provides two duplex SC connectors for supporting switched 100 Mb/s Fast Ethernet connections over 50/125 and 62.5/125 micron multimode ﬁber optic cable.

Warning: Fiber optic equipment can emit laser or infrared light that can injure your eyes. Never look into an optical ﬁber or connector port. Always assume that ﬁber optic cables are connected to a light source.

Figure B-5 shows a 100BASE-FX multimode ﬁber optic port connector and its pin assignments.
