●RLP: Press [Enter], accepting the dafault (and only valid value) of 0.

●Port: 0–7 for physical ports, 8–63 for logical ports. Valid numbers for physical

ports depend on the model of SmartSwitch 1800—see port locations on

page 6- 1.

Information in this Display:

●Station Address – (specified when co nfiguring the SNA port) identifies the PU,

and must match the ADDR paramete r set in the macro PU in t he VTAM config-

uration. (The station address is usually set to C1 for point-to-point SDLC lines,

and in series C1, C2, C3 , etc. for multidrop lines.)

●Name – PU name configured in the PU parameters in the SNA Port record.

●State – will be one of these:

◆Inactive

◆Never_Activated

◆Pending_Contact – waiting for Normal Response Mode
