Subscriber Paramet ers

Sq is a sequence number, wh ich ea ses select io n of a lin e on the scre en to change . To move

to another line, press [A] and enter the sequence number.

Local Sub

is the calling address used by the local device. A Subscr iber ID (see page 11 -8 ) mus t

also be config ured for this ad dress.

Remote Sub

is the called address used for calls by the local device. A Subscriber ID (se e page 1 1-

8) must also be configured for this address.

If the BSC port is one end of a connection to a logical X.25 port in the SmartSwitch,

this address must match a Subscriber ID configured for the logical port.

Atcl (Autocall) causes a BSC device to automatically the remote end when it becomes

active.

Rtytm is th e Retry Timer, which is the time between autocall retries.

Rty # is the Retry Number, which determines the maximum num ber of times an autocall will

be sent. Note that a value of 0 allows indefinite retries.

Del lets you delete the remote subscriber that is currently highlighted. You will be

prompted: D elete "n," where "n" is the sequence number. Pressing [Y] will delete that

line and move all entries below it up one sequence number.
