Stopping Operation

If you have bee n w o rking within menu operat i o ns a nd w ish t o l og out, pre ss [F4] at the
Main Menu. The Port Status Display screen will be displayed, with any updates. The
software will continue to run, but only those who know the password will be able to
gain access to the menus. You must press [F1] and enter the password to get back into
the Main Menu.
Reboot ing
To reboot from within the menu level, press [F10]. When asked: Reboot?, press [Y].
You cannot reboot the device from the initial Port Status Display. You must
first press [F1] and enter the password to get to the Main Menu.
Rebooting the node clears all connections. If you do not want to
do this, simply press [F4] to log out, then leave the device running.
Shutting Down
To shut do wn a Sma rtSwi tch 1800 , unpl u g it from its po w er sour ce.
Make sure all users of the device are aware that it will be shut
down.
