route is used. If Novell's IPXWAN protocol is used on the interface (as configured in
the IPX Interface file, described earlier in this chapter), this field will be ignored.

IPX SAP Sta tic Route P arameter s
Service Type
is a SAP Service Type code. Some common types are:
0003 = print queue 0004 = file server 0005 = job server
0007 = print server 0009 = archive server 0024 = remote bridge server
Server Name
identifies a specific server in the IPX internetwork.
Server Network Address
is an IPX network number assigned to the network containing the server identified by
Server Name.
Server Node Address
identifies the IPX node attached to the server network.
Server Socket Number
is an IPX socket number that identifies the process. For example, the SAP process is
0452.
