Configuring IPX Node Defaults
Press [E] at the Configure IP/LLC2/BRI DG E/IPX Defau lt Param eters Menu (or [A],
[A], [E], [E] from the Main Menu) to configure default IPX node parameters.

IPX Node Defaults Parameters

Internal Network
identifies the node to the IPX netwo rk. If fewer than 8 hex digits are entered, leading
zeros will be added.
Gap
is the minimum delay between consecutive RIP and SAP (Service Advertising Pro-
tocol) transmissions. This parameter p rovides compatibility with older Novell servers.
Router Name
is simply an identifier for the IPX network. It must be unique within the network.
