1Turn off the system, including any attached peripherals, and disconnect the system from the electrical outlet.

2Open the system. See Opening the System.

3Disconnect all cables connected to the expansion card.

4Remove any expansion cards from the expansion-card riser. See "Removing an Expansion Card."

5Press the blue release latch on expansion-card riser 2 and lift the riser straight up to clear the chassis. See Figure 3-24.

Replacing Expansion-Card Riser 2

1Align the guides on each end of expansion-card riser 2 with the mounting pins on the system board, and lower the riser into the system until the latches on the riser the engage. See Figure 3-24.

2Reinstall any expansion cards. See "Installing an Expansion Card."

3Reconnect all expansion-card cables.

4Close the system. See "Closing the System."

5Reconnect your system and peripherals to their electrical outlets, and turn on the system.
