C.5 RELAY OUTPUT

The Rosemount 2410 has two relays which can be configured with one or two set points. Control mode (auto/disabled), relay output source, set-point etc. can be specified. To open the 2410 Tank Hub Virtual Relay window:

1.In the WinSetup workspace click the right mouse button on the 2410 icon, choose Properties and select the Configuration tab.

2.Click one of the Virtual Relay No. buttons (see “Advanced Configuration in Winsetup” on page C-3).

Configuration

Using two/three relay zones

You can use two or three relay zones. Different relay states can be used in each of these zones.

With two relay zones, use one set point: First Point.

With three relay zones, use two set points: First Point and Second Point.

First and second set points

The first and second set points define the transitions between Zone 1, 2 and

3.You can set different relay states in each of these zones. First Point defines the transition between Zone 1 and 2. Second Point defines the transition between Zone 2 and 3.

Hysteresis

When the source variable passes a set point, the relay switches from one state to the other. When the source signal returns back into the previous zone, the relay does not switch back to the previous state until it has passed both the set point and the hysteresis zone.
