4.6.3FCU 2160 Configuration

In case the system includes a 2160 Field Communication Unit (FCU), it has to be installed prior to installing the Rosemount 2410 Tank Hub. The following is a brief description of how to install a 2160 FCU. See the Raptor System Configuration Manual (Document no. 300510EN) for a more comprehensive description.

To install and configure a 2160 FCU:

1.Start the installation wizard in TankMaster WinSetup and choose Device Type=FCU 2160.

2.Enable communication with the TankMaster PC:

•Select communication channel

•Set the communication address

3.Configure the FCU: specify Port type (Field Bus/Group Bus), Baud rate, Data bits, Stop bits, and Parity.

4.Configure the Slave Database.

Set Slave Type=2410_Level in the first free position of the Slave Type column.

A 2410_Temp device is automatically added to the Slave Database. Ensure that the Modbus Addresses of the connected devices are properly set. These addresses must correspond to the 2410 Tank Hub database settings (see “Basic Configuration of a Rosemount 2410” on page 4-3for more information).
