5.3.3.1Primary Master and/or Primary Slave submenu

Menu item	Option	Description
Autotype	Press Ú	If you press Ú, BIOS attempts to
Fixed Disk		determine the drive type for drives that
		comply with ANSI specifications. If
		successful, the remaining values in the
		menu fields are entered automatically.
Type	User	You enter the parameters of the hard disk
		drive installed at this connection.
	Auto	The type of hard disk drive installed is
		detected automatically.
	1-39	You can select pre-determined type of hard
		disk drive installed.
	CD-ROM	A CD-ROM drive is installed.
	ATAPI Removable	Removable disk drive is installed.
Cylinders		Displays the number cylinders.
Heads		Displays the number of read/write heads.
Sectors		Displays the number of sectors per track.
Maximum		Displays the capacity of the drive.
Capacity
Multisector	Disabled	Displays the status of multisector transfers.
Transfers	2, 4, 8, or 16 sectors	Automatic BIOS entry.
LBA Mode	Disabled	Displays the status of Logical Block
Control	Enabled	Access. Automatic BIOS entry.
