Warranty Limitations

The warranty set forth above is exclusive and no other warranty, whether written or oral, is expressed or implied. Hewlett-Packard specifically disclaims the implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

Some areas do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you. However, any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness is limited to the one-year duration of this written warranty.

Limit of Liability

In no event will Hewlett-Packard or its suppliers be liable to you for any consequential or incidental damages, including any lost profits or lost savings, or for any claim by any party, even if a representative of HP or its suppliers has been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Some areas, states or provinces do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you.

Service During the Warranty Period

If your hardware should fail during the warranty period, bring your printer to an authorized HP dealer, repair center, or HP Customer Service Center. To locate the nearest authorized Customer Service Center in your area, see the HP Support pages at the front manual.

When sending equipment to an HP Customer Service Center or service-authorized HP dealer, follow the repacking guidelines in this chapter. We recommend insuring the equipment for shipment.

C a u t i o n	Shipping damage as a result of inadequate packaging is the customer’s
	responsibility. Use the original packing materials whenever possible.
