Using the xmcd Utility

The instructions in the section assume that you are using the HP-UX

10.20operating system and the Workstation Additional Core Enhancements (ACE) for HP-UX 10.20 (June 1999) with the HP CDE interface. The xmcd utility must also be installed on your system. See the section “Installing the xmcd Utility.”

To load and play an audio CD, follow the steps in this procedure.

1.Load the audio CD. See the section “Loading a CD” in this chapter.

2.Insert the headphone plug into the headphone jack located on the back of your system unit.

3.Click on the Audio icon located on your HP CDE control panel.
