To use the integrated scanner, simply point the top of your unit at the bar code, press the [SCAN] key and listen for the beep acknowledging a good scan. A short
1.Ensure you are positioning the scan lens properly across the bar code.
2.The scan beam must cross every bar and space on the symbol.
3.Hold the scanner farther away for larger symbols.
4.Hold the scanner closer for symbols with bars that are close together.
"NOTE: Tip: After reading a bar code, aim the lens away from the bar codes and press the SCAN key within 1/2 second, to get the laser beam back on. With the laser beam on, you have five seconds to find and scan the next bar code.
