Returning an EX2200 Switchor Component for Repair or Replacement

Ifyou need to return an EX2200 switch or hardware component to Juniper Networksfor
repairor replacement, follow this procedure:
1. Determinethe serial number of the component. For instructions, see “Locating the
SerialNumber on an EX2200 Switch or Component” on page 106.
2. Obtainan RMA number from JTAC as described in “ContactingCustomer Support to
ObtainReturn Materials Authorization for EX Series Switches”on page 107.
NOTE: Donot return any component to Juniper Networksunless you have
firstobtained an RMA number. Juniper Networks reserves the right to
refuseshipments that do not have an RMA. Refused shipments are
returnedto the customer through collect freight.
3. Packthe switch or component forshipping as described in “Packing an EX2200 Switch
orComponent for Shipping” on page 108.
